Katariina Airas
Katariina Airas (b. 1974 in Helsinki) started studying music already at a young age, her main instruments being violin and viola. She sang, toured the world and also performed as as soloist in the world renowned Tapiola Choir from 1985 to 1994, and considers this experience as one of her most important lessons in music and performing. During this time Katariina found out that her main instrument is her singing voice. She has sung and played in various choirs and bands ever since. Katariina is also a theologian.

In Suden aika Katariina sings and plays two different Swedish folk instruments: the string instrument Moraharpa and Härjedalspipa, a wooden flute.
