After graduating from Sibelius High School, Veera Voima (b.1975) concentrated on folk singing in Kaustinen and Osthrobotnian Conservatory. From there she continued to Sibelius Academy Folk Music Department. She graduated in 2007 and her acquired some more pedagogic studies also in Music Pedagogy Department. Veeraworks with choirs and specializes in etno and pop singing, body percussions and movement. Her choirs are Kameleonttikuoro, international Kassandrakuoro and Kiehinä.

Besides Suden aika, Veera's singing can be heard in her trio Suo and in nature documentaries by DocArt: Magic of Wilderness, Heritage of Water and The Nature of Finland.

In Suden aika Veera sings, plays the frame drum, shakers and Irish flute Low Whistle.

Suden aika has been chosen for a tour of the Finnish Folk Music Association next fall! More info upcoming.
